Sequel Season is in full-swing as Dan and Aaron take on 2018's "The Predator"
Sitting on the Tomatometer at 32% with an Audience Score of 33%, it is pretty easy to see that this film didn't resonate with die-hard or casual fans alike. However, being the most successful film of the franchise does raise a few eyebrows and prompt some investigation. Dan and Aaron discuss the fine lines Director Shane Black had to walk in order to bring this soft reboot to the big screen. They discuss the history of the franchise, the bizarre reshoots, and take a second look at stuff they didn't like about it with fresh eyes. Did nostalgia set unrealistic expectations? Is this movie actually just mad trash? Is there more good to it than meets the eye? Come find out why "The Predator" might actually be a better Predator movie than you think it is.
NOTE: This episode has been flagged as Explicit due to some language from the film clips included. Assuming you're a Predator fan, this shouldn't come as a surprise.
